Deepa and Omkar decided to form an unplugged band in 2015 along with flutist Utkarsh. They went on to play their first live show at Prabodhankar Thackeray Auditorium, Borivali just three days after the band came into place. Since then, the band has had a couple of line-up changes but looks more stable now. 1K Ampere has featured on air at Radio Nasha 91.9 for a Lata Mangeshkar Tribute and is enjoying a successful run.
